Academic support & Tutoring at ABI is designed to support learners, particularly those who are neurodivergent or have diverse learning profiles, with individualized, evidence-based instruction across subject areas. Our goal is not just to improve grades, but to build independent learning skills, confidence, and a love for learning that carries beyond tutoring sessions.

Our tutoring support may include (but is not limited to):
Literacy & Reading: phonics, decoding, fluency, comprehension, writing
Mathematics: number sense, computation, problem-solving, algebraic thinking
Study Skills & Organization: note-taking strategies, summarizing, following long-term projects
Homework Support & Work Completion: breaking down tasks, tracking assignments, pacing
Writing & Composition: structure, clarity, editing, expressing ideas
Subject-Specific Support: science, social studies, arts, etc.

Once you have decided that ABI is the right fit for your family, we will book an in-home assessment where we will individualize a treatment plan.
Our Director, a Registered Nurse and BCBA, will meet with you personally to discuss recommendations based on the assessment and a proposal for service is submitted to you for approval. This is a fluid conversation where you decide what will work best for your child, and for your family.
